A sleepless night

It's 6:40 AM on September 5, 2014...Gosh, I'm sleepy! I didn't have my night time medicine last night and I didn't sleep any..I had it set on auto refills at Wal Mart  so I thought it would be ready when Jimmy would pick it up but the refills had run out so I had to call the doctor's office...Maybe it will be ready today.I finally got the email  I had been waiting on for a week...HGM is accepting the offer on my Aunt Jessie and Uncle Lonnie's homeplace...I have to call the bank about the loan today..If everything goes through ok..we will be moving back to Flat Creek community soon..It's right around the corner where we use to live, It's going to be a big pain in the butt to move again but I'm ready for some country living! We're going to look at the property soon since it's been a few years since we've seen it.  Aunt Jessie died in 2008 and Uncle Lonnie died in 2000..My cousin(Cuz I call her) was living there until 2011 when HGM bought it so her and Joe bought a place in Jefferson..We sold our place to them too and we bought a place in Lancaster..We've been here since March 2011..I'm so tired..A long night will no sleep just drains me and this MD doesn't help at all..Jimmy's going to pick up my med today and you better believe I will take it tonight..

A good day

Today is a good day because we are blessed with it..GOD has given me so much because he loves me and because I am HIS child...My brother in law, Gene, is in ICU and has been there going on two weeks....They found out that he has 3 blood clots in his lungs and are trying to dissolve them..He's on a vent now and that must be really hard for him..We are going to Columbia, SC to see him on Wednesday. I pray that GOD will touch him and make him well again..
     We had too much month left at the end of the money for August..We put a fence all the way across our front near the road. and that took  a good chunk of money..We shut the gate early evening and we feel better about our dogs in the yard.. Besides, it looks good, too.

Sunday, August 3, 2014-We went to our great granddaughter's birthday party yesterday and had a great time..Jordan got so many presents that I really believe it was more than she gets at Christmas! LOL! Michael and Becky didn't get to come and I missed them..We had hotdogs with homemade chili and slaw, pasta salad, chips and, of course, birthday cake..Her party was done with a Minnie Mouse theme because Jordan loves Minnie Mouse..Here's one of my favorite pics that her mom's friend took of Jordan..We were told that Jordan's maternal grandmother died today about 1:30...Prayers are going out for the family!  Love you guys!

.Becky (our daughter in law) called and said they found a baby kitten at Michael's office this afternoon and asked if we could keep it overnight and the next day Michael would take it to the pound..Well, we really like the kitty and decided to keep her..I came up with the name of Lucky for her and-(You know Jimmy) he says Damn Lucky! LOL

Both of our children came to see us today..Michael and Becky came by for a short while on there way to the beach...I sure do miss living at the beach!  It's been 4 years since we have lived there and only a block from the ocean..I went to the ocean almost every day! We bought our house in 2011 and have been here ever since..Tracy came (without the grandkids) to see us..Tracy went to the grill to pick up an order of cheeseburgers and a drunk man told her he wanted her food..She wouldn't give it to him..Then he stood right outside her window when she cranked up her car...She was trembling when she go back...Bless her heart! I know it was a scary thing to deal with but I'm so glad she is alright...We wish we could protect our children from this kind of thing but we can't..I always pray for their protection and let God do the rest ...

    

We had a great 4th of July yesterday!  We cooked out and had some of our family to come.  We sat outside and talked and visited all afternoon..I wished that my daughter and her family had been at the cookout...She had other plans..My husband, Jimmy acted like he had a good time...He doesn't go outside much...He watches a lot of tv and plays games on his computer..My husband and I have some serious health issues so the cookout time was time well spent...I haven't been feeling good all day..I'm on oxygen all the time but I had an episode where I was short  of breath for awhile..I may have to call t he doctor and see if there is anything else that we need to do to help me...I remember 2 years ago when the doctor I was going to had me on a cpap machine which is not what I needed at all. I had days that I felt so bad and didn't  know what to do about it..I called and got an appointment with a doctor that I had heard some very good things about, so I gave him a try..He told me I needed to be on a ventilator so I trusted him and he was so right! He put me on oxygen 24/7 on May 15th..I'm waiting for results on my last lung x-ray..My problems are with my diaphragm(the breathing muscle). My right diaphragm is paralyzed and my left diapraghm is raising up but maybe the x-ray will tell me more..But no matter what, I will be ok...I have the Lord on my side and when you have him, he is all you need!

This blog is in my husband's name but I will be the one posting blogs..I didn't feel like getting dressed this morning so I didn't...Maybe later I  will...I found out the other day that my lung capacity is 42 per cent now so no wonder I don't feel good..Another x ray of my lungs was done during my office visit tuesday..They just did one a couple months ago...I didn't get to see Dr Afulukwe this time..He was concerned about my feet swelling...At first he put me on lasic and found out that the lasic didn't help any so he put me on a stronger fluid pill by the name of demedak...It is getting most of the fluid out now..I've been on oxygen 24/7 since the 15th of last month and I can't say that it is helping a lot. I feel some better but not much..

We saw Kel graduate on the 7th of June on CN2 channel on cable..It was a joy to watch her graduate..I think back to when she was a little girl..She use to go to church with me and I will never forget that..We would paint our nails on Saturday night..We had so much fun...

My life is so blessed and I have no right to complain about anything and I try not to..God has given me a beautiful family..My husband, Jimmy sees to my every day needs...I love him so much for everything he does for me..I know I can count on him and also I can count on my daughter, Tracy and my son, Michael too..I'm sure the rest of the family are there for me too..I have 3 grandsons, Matt, Brad and MJ..They are so precious to me..My granddaughters are Kel(Kelli) and Hayley..I'm even more blessed with 2 beautiful great grand babies, Jordan and Makenzie..Sue, Becky, Heather and Christa make up the rest of my family..I love you guys, too...

I wished I had started my blog at an earlier time...Every time I tried to I  wouldn't stick with it..I'm not one to tell my life for the world to see but since I enjoy reading blogs I thought maybe someone would like to read mine..I have so much to talk about so It might take quite a few blogs to get it going so come along with me for the ride of my life....
